Official Government Preparations for First Alien Contact

Technology advancements have increased the likelihood of alien contact as compared to other periods in the history of our civilization during the search for extraterrestrial life (SETI).

Astronomers can now determine the composition of planets outside of our solar system thanks to scientific advancements.

As a result, Scotland now serves as a new research hub completely focused on the search for extraterrestrial life.

John Elliot, an honorary research fellow at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, has reportedly accomplished one of his objectives and formally founded an alien contact study facility

The SETI-Post Detection Hub is concerned with what happens following the establishment of initial contact with an alien species.

The science at the new research facility focuses on ways to interact with humans as well as extraterrestrial beings.
