Using the Apple Fitness App Without a Watch
In September 2014, Apple unveiled the initial Apple Watch and the Apple Fitness app (via Apple).
Exercise aficionados can track their steps taken, calories burned, heart rate, and other significant aspects of their daily fitness routines using an Apple Watch and the Fitness app.
The best part is that you can start a workout right away while wearing an Apple Watch, and the smartwatch will keep track of the duration and calories burned.
Even if you forget to set your watch, you can still make your fitness count because the watch even identifies some routines automatically.
The Fitness app has largely remained the same since then, with the exception of Apple creating a paid version known as Fitness+. Since then,
Apple Watch is required to directly monitor workouts in the app. Fortunately, Apple has made it possible to utilize the Fitness app without purchasing an Apple Watch in a few different ways.
